Springfield,MO – Ozarks Community Hospital system now encompasses an additional building in north Springfield (1540 E. Evergreen St.) located in the space previously known as Joe’s Carpet.
As part of the first phase, OCH Evergreen Clinic will house OCH/Advantage Therapy and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Edwin Roeder’s practice with additional providers and specialties in the future. Renovation will occur throughout the coming months. The clinic is expected to be open to the public after the first of the year.

Mary Sherrer, who will serve as clinic manager for OCH Evergreen Clinic, says, “I am excited to be a part of the OCH team, and look forward to growing the clinic. Dr. Roeder and his OCH staff are committed to providing excellent orthopedic care to all patients including the injured worker.”
Dr. Roeder specializes in upper and lower extremity arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery, and trauma. His interests include treatment of occupational injuries, including carpal tunnel. OCH/Advantage Therapy provides occupational, speech, physical and hand therapy services. The OCH/Advantage Therapy department and Dr. Edwin Roeder’s practice were previously housed in the Orthopaedic Specialists of Springfield (OSS) building. Dr. Roeder has had a clinic office at OCH for some time; with the closing of OSS he has moved all of his practice to OCH, soon to move to the OCH Evergreen Clinic. OCH/Advantage Therapy is still open at OSS and hopes to complete the move to OCH Evergreen Clinic by the end of the year.
Ozarks Community Hospital system currently employs more than 800 employees and encompasses two hospital facilities and 15 clinics located throughout the Ozarks. Hospital headquarters (2828. N. National) serve as a 45-bed acute care provider-based facility located in Springfield, Mo. just off Interstate 44.
