Job Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for operations, planning, and management of Accounting and Payroll Staff. Reporting to the CFO, manage the month end accounting close; prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations; resolve outstanding reconciling items to ensure accurate and timely financial statement in accordance with GAAP; and prepare audit, cost report, and tax return work papers for multiple entities. Requires 5 years’ experience, with a minimum of 2 years at a supervisory level; Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting; and CPA firm experience is preferred. The Accounting Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to function in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
