Maintenance Technician Full-Time Springfield

Job Summary: Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. Position will require extensive knowledge and experience in construction and related functions to include rough in plumbing, electrical, sheet rock and wall repair. Position will also include minor maintenance, mechanical repairs and other duties as required to maintain the facility and equipment. Other duties my include assisting the Engineering Department with plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance, construction repairs and maintenance of wooden structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions and other parts of the hospital buildings, using hand tools and power tools according to written and oral instructions. Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating the nursing care of patients presenting to Emergency Services ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric, who may present at any point on the continuum from illness/injury to wellness. Performs all aspects whereby patients presenting to the Emergency Department are treated in order of priority based upon acuity of direct patient care and works with other disciplines/ancillary services in the care they provide. Under the guidance of the ER/UC Manager the ER/UC follow-up Nurse will assist the ER providers with helping patients along a needed continuum of healthcare.
