Education and Training: Shannon has provided speech and language therapy services for thirteen years to children and adults of all ages. She has specialized with early childhood and patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders for the majority of those years. Shannon graduated from Missouri State University, cum laude, with a Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She received her designation as an In-district Autism Consultant (IDAC) from Project Access in 2007 and certification training for the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) in 2010. Shannon has practiced across multiple settings independently throughout many southwest Missouri school districts over the past decade and in 2009 was accepted into Walden University’s Doctoral program for a PhD. in Health Services specializing in Community Health Promotion and Education.
