Description of Service
“Share the Care” is a program established to provide wound assessment for nursing home residents. We work with the nursing homes to develop a plan of care that can be managed in the facility. We offer inservices/teaching programs to our affiliated skilled ad LTC facilities at no cost, presented by Judy DeVault RN, CWS, FACCWS.
Treatment provided for the following wounds:
- Non-healing wounds/ chronic wounds
- Pressure Ulcers
- Venous Insufficiency and Venous Ulcers
- Diabetic Foot Ulcers
- Ostomy Care
- Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)
- Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)
