Neosho, MO – James Patton, PA-C, known by patients as ‘Jim’, will now offer DOT physicals to members of the Neosho community on-site at the OCH Newton County Clinic.
During the DOT physical, Jim will examine patient’s vision, hearing, blood pressure, blood sugar, and drug use. Upon completion of the exam, commercial drivers will receive a Medical Examiner’s Certificate that they need to have on them when they’re on the road.
This new service provides members of the Neosho community access to DOT physicals in a small, accessible clinic setting. The OCH Newton County clinic is located at 1355 Rocketdyne Rd, right off of Highway 60.
“OCH Newton County Clinic is honored and pleased to have Jim join our family. He is warm, caring and compassionate. We believe the community will benefit from his years of experience and his professional bedside manner,” Jeanette Gallemore, the OCH Newton County Clinic manager, said.
With 10 years of experience in rural health care, Jim will also see patients for a wide variety of reasons including acute & chronic care, preventative care, annual wellness visits, physical exams, sports physicals, well-women exams, DFS exams, sutures, drug screens, lab services, vaccines for children, and asthma testing.
