The OCH Lawrence County Clinic would like to welcome Amanda Chapman, FNP-BC, to our Clinic! We are so glad to have her with us to continue to serve our community.
“We are excited to have Amanda join our team,” Stefanie Hohensee, clinic manager, said. “She provides a great blend of top-notch clinical education and knowledge with a strong passion for providing community-based care. I also expect that she will be active in the community that she has been a part of her whole life.”
Amanda graduated from Cox College with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2020 and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She worked in the nursing field for ten years before becoming a nurse practitioner. Working as a registered nurse (RN), she provided care in a variety of disciplines including the Medical-Surgical field, where she saw a wide variety of patients across different lifespans and patients in cardiac rehabilitation. She has particular interest in health promotion and improving access to healthcare for vulnerable and underserved populations.
Amanda has been a lifelong resident of Lawrence County where her and her husband Eric Chapman and their son Theodore still reside. She is excited to join the OCH team and provide care to her community.
She will see patients of all ages, from newborn to adult at the OCH Lawrence County Clinic in Mt. Vernon, MO. Patients can schedule appointments with her on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00 pm and Tuesday’s from 8am to 5:00pm.
