Job Summary: LCSW Clinical therapist is responsible to provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and their families experiencing mental health and addiction issues, with blended medical and psychosocial crises precipitated by their illness, medical procedures, or subsequent developments, through intensive outpatient services. A caring, friendly, personal and professional approach is expected in communicating with patients, families, visitors, and other employees. The incumbent will provide a variety of services including group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, casework services and others to patients and their families. The number and type of patients serviced will depend on the patient needs and OCH guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a C.S.W.E. accredited school.
- Active LCSW Licensure within the state of practicing.
- Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work preferred.
- Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
