Ozarks Community Hospital in Anderson, MO has an immediate opening for a full-time Nurse Practitioner within our Anderson Clinic.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the assigned manager or coordinator, receives patient referrals from providers or nursing personnel, ascertains their needs and makes appropriate referral. Documents the referral appropriately in referral log and communicates with provider that referral has been made. Has the ability to perform duties consistent with Standards of Practice, goals and philosophy of Ozarks Community Hospital and the Employee Code of Conduct.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. Works under direct supervision of a physician following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program.
  • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligible.  Certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment.
  • Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
