Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR is seeking a full-time Patient Finance Administrative Assistant to join our Team.
Core responsibilities include:
- Process and reconcile lab service claims via insurance, Medicare, or contractual agreements.
- Assign and audit ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to ensure compliance.
- Resolve billing disputes with patients, insurers, and partner facilities.
- Track Medicare-specific billing (e.g., travel allowances, if applicable).
- Collaborate with labs and providers to correct billing errors and streamline reimbursements.
- Generate financial reports on A/R, denials, and payment trends.
- Assist with professional staff credentialing and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in medical billing/coding (lab, hospital, or diagnostics preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software.
- Certifications: CPC, CPB, or CMRS certification is a plus.
- Education: Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Healthcare Admin, Business, or related field (preferred).
