Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR is seeking a full-time Physician Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources Team.

In this role, you will oversee the onboarding process for physicians and other healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. You will be responsible for managing provider credentials, verifying affiliations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of provider information into the designated program or system.
  • Verify and process professional credentials, including affiliations, internships, and collaborative practice agreements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of malpractice requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Manage initial and reappointments to medical staff, to include Collaborative Physician Agreements.
  • Follow up on pending verifications and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provide support and guidance to providers throughout the onboarding process.

Qualifications:

  • High diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in physician onboarding, credentialing, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of malpractice, medical staff appointments, and hospital privileges.
  • Familiarity with collaborative practice agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using credentialing software or programs to input and manage provider information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
