Job Summary: Under the supervision of the department manager, the Customer Service Representative (CRS) is responsible for performing basic clinical, administrative and office support functions in an assigned department or clinic, including greeting patients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payors.
- Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position.
- Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment.
- BLS or Friends and Family certification preferred.
- Great organizational and multitasking abilities.
