AVOCA — Ozarks Community Hospital has announced the opening of the OCH Benton County Clinic, located at 102 Russell Road in Rogers. The clinic will bring healthcare to Avoca, a rural community located on the outskirts of the Rogers area.
The clinic is run by three staff members and provider Rhonda Pauls, APRN, who will provide family practice care to patients of all ages. Pauls obtained her nursing degree from Kansas Newman College and went on to receive her family nurse practitioner degree from Indiana State University.
“I am excited to provide medical care to the Northwest Arkansas community, serving everyone, including those who struggle to afford the cost of healthcare,” Pauls said. “Ozarks Community Hospital’s mission is to ‘serve the underserved’ and I look forward to doing my part to reach those rural communities.”
In addition to self-pay patients, the clinic can accept Medicaid, Medicare and Tricare insurances. The clinic will be open Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
“In addition to our existing OCH Gravette Clinic, this second location will expand our reach to a different sector of Northwest Arkansas. This kind of medical facility will be unique for this area, and our hope is to reach patients who could not have otherwise received medical care,” Jessica Bolin, the clinic administrator for the OCH Benton County Clinic, said.
The OCH Benton County Clinic is now accepting new patients. Appointments can be booked by calling the OCH team at 479-278-7189. The clinic also accepts walk-ins.
